Miguel Esperança Pina is a Partner in the Litigation and Arbitration and Restructuring and Insolvency practices. He has over 30 years' experience in highly complex commercial and civil litigation, as well as national and international arbitration on a global scale. He advises on contractual litigation, particularly commercial, financial, project finance, public concessions, construction and energy disputes. He acts as an arbitrator at national and international level involving, amongst others, aviation companies, the food industry and the media. His experience as an arbitrator includes more than 50 arbitrations administered by the International Chamber of Commerce and the Lisbon Commercial Arbitration Centre, and he has been appointed arbitrator by entities such as the Portuguese State and the United States of America.
